So the Saracens have struck again. Killing dozens (at the earliest reports) in coordinated attacks at the airport and metro, only 48 hours after the arrest of the one survivor of the Paris attacks.
It is doubtful this will spark a new crusade quite yet, but it no doubt will add to the underlying Western European psyche of slow-boiling rage. If and when it boils over, the secular humanism that has come to dominate our era will mean the response will have little if any restraint. There is, after all, no underlying bedrock of charity in secular humanism. Stripped bare of its fraudulent veneer of respectability, what is left is a horrific process of Darwinian nihilism.
If any charity is left it will be as a forgotten DNA remnant of a once Christian populace, but true, hardcore Christians are few and far between, and hardcore Christian warrior crusaders are even fewer.
Then again, I believe that the original Knights Templars numbered less than sixty. Which should mean it would be possible for a few organised men to have an impact, but of course, the Templars were operating with the blessing of the Pope and the moral support of the Christian West.
Any remnant of Christianity that would act as defenders of their nations and faith today would have the formidable enemy of the state they live in, the mass media, and therefore, as consequence, the majority too, for the brainwashing is effective, and if that fails there is always state force to add to it.
The result of all this is that if I were to strategise a concerted effort of recruiting, training and preparing of a spearhead to lead the revolt intelligently, I would begin with the armed forces.
A quiet campaigning of religious instruction backed by steel to instill in officers in the armed and police forces, the original concepts of the Christian Warrior would act as a serious preventive measure in the reduction of the coming chaos and at least initially an organising of the required response.
I sure hope some religiously aware, trained and courageous persons are beginning such a process of instruction, in whatever capacity they may be able to do so.
Deus Vult may not be expressing God’s true wish, but it sure would help reduce the bloodbath that will soon arrive.
